To recognize World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10, the Suicide Action Committee (SAWW) is organizing a September 10 evening walk around the race track in New Hamburg. Participants will be given LED tea lights to carry as they walk around the track in memory of a loved one who has died due to suicide. This event is open to all community members. The evening will conclude with an outdoor time of reflection and light refreshments.

Free fall blooming crocus bulbs are also available throughout Wilmot and Wellesley Township to plant in your garden, to bloom in memory of someone or to encourage hope in those struggling with thoughts of suicide.
