Thursday morning Project Red knotting is temporarily suspended due to COVID precautions. However, many of our members and friends continue to do this important work from the safety of their homes. Donations of fabric or supplies are gratefully accepted. Please contact us to make arrangements for a donation or to find out how you can help.
Anyone can tie a knot.
Every Thursday morning from 9-11am we meet to knot blankets. This is a long time tradition at our church. These blankets are made by members and friends of Zion, which are then given to various local organizations. They include Grand River Hospital’s pediatrics unit and St. Mary’s Hospital’s end-of-life care, as well as those in need around the world through agencies like Canadian Lutheran World Relief.
Please consider joining us on Thursday mornings, to enjoy the fellowship and conversation of members and friends as we knot comforters for those in need.
We happily accept donations of fabric as well.
