Anyone can tie a knot.
Every Thursday morning from 9-11:30 am we meet to knot blankets. This is a long time tradition at our church. These blankets are made by members and friends of Zion, which are then given to various local organizations. They include Grand River Hospital’s pediatrics unit and St. Mary’s Hospital’s end-of-life care, as well as those in need around the world through agencies like Canadian Lutheran World Relief. Most recently, several blankets have been sent to comfort some folks in the Ukraine.
Please consider joining us on Thursday mornings, to enjoy the fellowship and conversation of members and friends as we knot comforters for those in need.
Donations of fabric or supplies are gratefully accepted. Please contact us to make arrangements for a donation or to find out how you can help.
